Each year, the Daisy Airgun Museum salutes a site in Historic Downtown Rogers which is significant to our City's history. Annual issues of these guns are closed when 500 guns have been produced during the year, or on the last business day of the year (whichever comes first.) This year, the Daisy Airgun Museum Downtown limited-edition Model 25 features a custom engraving of the Union Station Frisco Railroad Depot which stood along First Street from 1914 to 1977. Designed by Robert C. Stevens of St. Louis, Missouri, the station was located at the corner of First and Cherry Streets, and opened for rail service on April 26, 1914. The depot was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in August, 1977, and was razed that December. This gun includes an insert card, providing the history of this site and featuring several photos provided by the Rogers Historical Museum.
